IP rights

The entrepreneur's catalogue of IP rights: add, deactivate and delete rights to pick on invoices, expenses and IP Box entries.

The Reusable IP rights window is an optional catalogue of reusable software or other protected work. You can pick its rights on invoices, expenses and IP Box entries.

Invoice income and its linked evidence are reviewed in IP Box, not here.

What the window looks like

Parts of the window

1. New right form

   Fields: name, qualification type, default revenue share and an optional description. The Add IP right button saves the right.

2. Registered rights

   Each right shows its name, type, description and default share. Inactive rights carry an inactive tag.

3. Row actions

   Deactivate (or Activate) toggles the right, and Delete removes it.

How to

1. Add an IP right

   In Register a new IP right enter a Name, choose a Qualification type and click Add IP right. The name is required.

2. Set the default revenue share

   Enter a value from 0 to 100 in Default revenue share % (the form suggests 85). Optionally add a Description.

3. Switch off a right you no longer use

   Click Deactivate next to the right. An inactive tag appears, and Activate brings the right back.

4. Delete a right

   Click Delete next to the right. It is removed immediately, without confirmation.
