Companies and workspaces

Business profile

Company details, entrepreneur and accountant access to the workspace, and archiving.

Address in the app: /entrepreneurs/:entrepreneurId/profile

The Business profile window holds the company's basic details and shows who has access to the workspace: one entrepreneur and any number of accountants.

Yearly IP Box tax inputs are maintained separately, in the Tax settings window.

What the window looks like

/entrepreneurs/:entrepreneurId/profile
The business profile with workspace access.

Parts of the window

  1. Company details

Name, NIP, business name and IP Box start date. Save with Save changes.

  2. IP Box tax inputs

A link to the yearly tax inputs in the Tax settings window.

  3. Entrepreneur

The name and email of the assigned entrepreneur. An administrator also gets Unassign entrepreneur here. When there is none, an administrator or accountant assigns a user by email.

/entrepreneurs/:entrepreneurId/profile
An accountant's email entered before assigning.

Parts of the window

  1. Accountants

The list of assigned accountants with a Revoke button, and a form to add one by email.

The demo runs in your browser on fictional data. Changes are kept only in this browser (localStorage).

How to

  1. Change company details

Edit the fields in the Business profile card and click Save changes. If saving fails, a message appears under the fields.

  2. Assign the entrepreneur

When nobody is assigned, an administrator or accountant enters the email of an existing user in Existing entrepreneur email and clicks Assign entrepreneur.

  3. Add an accountant

Enter the email of an existing accountant in Existing accountant email and click Assign accountant. Remove access with Revoke next to the accountant; if you revoke your own, you leave this company.

  4. Unassign the entrepreneur

An administrator clicks Unassign entrepreneur. The company's records stay in the workspace, and another user can be assigned.

  5. Archive or restore the company

An administrator clicks Archive workspace and confirms with Confirm archive. An archived company is brought back with Restore workspace.

Good to know

  • A user who does not exist yet is created by an administrator in user management. An accountant sees a prompt to ask an administrator.

Limitations

  • Only one entrepreneur can be assigned to a workspace.
  • Only an administrator can unassign the entrepreneur, or archive or restore the company.
  • After archiving, records are read-only, the profile fields are locked and the entrepreneur login is unassigned. After restoring, assign it separately.
